Parents can apply for tuition assistance through our third party financial screening partner TADS. Their link is located at the bottom of this page. First Priority students whose family demonstrates financial need are awarded assistance on a case-by-case basis. Visit our Vulnerable Child Assistance page for information on priority admissions.
Tuition assistance is dependent upon some key factors: 1) Family income; 2) Household expenses and budget; 3) TADS – Objective third-party recommendation; 4) Number of students enrolled; 5) Maximum established tuition assistance award limits established by Board of Directors; 6) Academic, spiritual, and behavioral match for mission; 7) Family willingness to build a support team; 8) Available tuition assistance funds; 9) Order and priority of financial aid application; 10) On-time tuition payment history; 11) Other unforeseen factors in school or family situation.
Tuition Deferment Plan – Parents who have, through the TADS third party objective screening, demonstrated an inability to pay the full monthly payment, at the discretion of the school, may be given the option to choose to defer a portion of their tuition until a lump sum payment is possible at tax return time. If for any reason your children are withdrawn during the school year, the lump sum due would be prorated for the number of months enrolled. For example, if you withdraw your children at the midpoint of the school year, 50% of the lump sum remains due at tax time. Ask us about this option.
Early Withdrawal - Students are considered enrolled for the entire school year; therefore, budgets and teacher salaries are set accordingly. The early withdrawal of a student creates a budget deficit hardship that the school may not be able to fill with donations or a viable candidate. Tuition assistance is forfeited for early withdrawal, and any assistance applied to the account will be factored into any final invoice for the quarter of withdrawal. PCA has set an early withdrawal fee of $500.00 in addition to tuition in full due for each quarter attended--even if not completed. A family withdrawing a student in the third quarter, for instance, would be invoiced for 3/4 of the full tuition plus an early withdrawal fee minus any payments already made.
Official transcripts and academic records cannot be released or sent to other schools if an outstanding balance remains at PCA.
